With a little luck, Guajayare FC's Ioritz Parral got control of the ball when Ieltxu Galve tried to sneak it across the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Berriotxoa Floranes to make the kick off. Chinto Castroviejo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinaldo Obaya having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fortunato Ogero got free with Reinaldo Obaya in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chinto Castroviejo was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Guajayare FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The Ganga FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Guajayare FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
