Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xoan Castaneda in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xzavion Bartolome prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adrian Arenas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Closa having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Corredores FC got a freekick which was hit by Paulino Bielva. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Duarte Closa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canton FC. Bidari Vidal's late challenge caught a Corredores FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bidari Vidal helped the player get up and apologised. Bidari Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 79th minute of the match, Sesuldo Prieto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Xzavion Bartolome was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 80 played minutes, Canton FC's Inautzi Gajardo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Duarte Closa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Duarte Closa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrian Arenas, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the match, Corredores FC's goal looked a bit too open when Laurendi Susvilla came free, but Duarte Closa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Adrian Arenas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
