Spectators: 6703 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 0) Honrio Ceballos started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ismael Gao during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 7th minute, Ismael Gao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 0-1 became the score in the 14th minute when Rioja Balderrama elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The supporters of Candelaria FC booed when Athletic Villa F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filipe Hormaza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xepe Zaldain made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Narciso Ceberiche sent off a good shot on target. Ismael Gao came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Xepe Zaldain could save by the left post. Mergildo Ascargorta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pirmin Salto having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Athletic Villa F.C's Rioja Balderrama nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pirmin Salto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Candelaria FC's zone, Honrio Ceballos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pirmin Salto came out of the goal and Honrio Ceballos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, Candelaria FC's goal looked a bit too open when Honrio Ceballos came free, but Pirmin Salto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

54 minutes into the match, Honrio Ceballos notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Candelaria FC's Pirmin Salto. Pirmin Salto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Anibal Carrero's late challenge caught a Candelaria FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anibal Carrero helped the player get up and apologised. After 58 played minutes Athletic Villa F.C got a freekick which was hit by Anibal Carrero. 63 minutes into the match, Athletic Villa F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Rai Rabanal came free, but Xepe Zaldain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 67th minute, Rioja Balderrama reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pirmin Salto. The goal made the score 0-4. Mergildo Ascargorta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Pirmin Salto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Athletic Villa F.C's Filipe Hormaza got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 82nd minute Ismael Gao shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xepe Zaldain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Athletic Villa F.C getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Mergildo Ascargorta hit a great ball. Xepe Zaldain came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Candelaria FC's Ismael Gao. But to his dismay, Ismael Gao quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After having played for 94 minutes, Rioja Balderrama managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Athletic Villa F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rioja Balderrama was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Although Candelaria FC had been in control for most of the match, Athletic Villa F.C still came away with the win.
