The referee showed Zernin Argumosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, Zulia fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zernin Argumosa to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Zernin Argumosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 19 in the game by Sayveon Mujica from a close distance when the talented Ederono Salazano managed to make a qualified save. Zulia fc's players were relieved. After a defensive mix-up in Zulia fc's zone, Millano Vidal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ederono Salazano came out of the goal and Millano Vidal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sayveon Mujica in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ederono Salazano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ederono Salazano was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Sayveon Mujica showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 24 minute of play. In the 46th minute, Florencio Pedroso made a precise shot to the right of Fidele Tamaron. Titicare's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Pravia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Pravia in the 52nd minute of play forced Titicare's goalkeeper Fidele Tamaron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zernin Argumosa in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidele Tamaron saved Titicare from getting behind. Florencio Pedroso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Fidele Tamaron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fidele Tamaron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Pravia in the 57th minute of play. Fidele Tamaron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zulia fc. In the 92nd minute, Hector-Luis Llanos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 94 played minutes Titicare got a freekick which was hit by Hunfredo Caballeiro. 95 minutes into the match, Titicare's goalkeeper Fidele Tamaron had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florencio Pedroso.
