Spectators: 6713 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 0) Caracas FC's Carolo Bodes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zuhaitz Calenga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carolo Bodes went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The Caracas FC fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Caracas FC's Caetano Escalante looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sidoro Dean struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Ezequiel Davila didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maruto. The supporters of Maruto booed when Caracas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andre Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zuhaitz Calenga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caetano Escalante's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Caetano Escalante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Zuhaitz Calenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Andre Ramos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caracas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maruto the free kick. In the 25th minute Sidoro Dean shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Davila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Maruto's Rodolfo Mijares got a free kick in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Maruto's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Bodes came free, but Zuhaitz Calenga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carolo Bodes took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zuhaitz Calenga. Zuhaitz Calenga dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Caetano Escalante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Zuhaitz Calenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Escalante in the 37th minute of play forced Maruto's goalkeeper Zuhaitz Calenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sidoro Dean's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ezequiel Davila read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Carolo Bodes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zuhaitz Calenga having to make a save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Sidoro Dean made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Caracas FC got a freekick which was hit by Domenec Sauto. After 55 minutes of play Caracas FC's Andre Ramos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 56th minute, Andre Ramos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, Caracas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sidoro Dean came free, but Ezequiel Davila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giraldo Peñacerrada hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 60 minutes, Argi Angulo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caracas FC and the Maruto players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 61 played minutes Caracas FC got a freekick which was hit by Argi Angulo. When Sidoro Dean came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Maruto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sidoro Dean couldn't finish the play. Caetano Escalante who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Zuhaitz Calenga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ezequiel Davila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sidoro Dean in the 66th minute of the match. Sidoro Dean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caetano Escalante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Zuhaitz Calenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, Maruto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerold Limon to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Sidoro Dean managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maruto's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidoro Dean was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ezequiel Davila breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Maruto booed when Caracas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Etxahun Cuebas didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sidoro Dean in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ezequiel Davila saved Caracas FC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Sidoro Dean put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ezequiel Davila. Caetano Escalante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Zuhaitz Calenga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Caetano Escalante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zuhaitz Calenga having to interfere. Caracas FC's Giraldo Peñacerrada got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
