Spectators: 7491 (Terracing: 5619, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 149) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Formerio Yzarra got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Corderro Merlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rius Tejerizo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Formerio Yzarra in the 4th minute of play. Formerio Yzarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 8 played minutes Formerio Yzarra rounded Carautico's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Carautico's goalkeeper Rius Tejerizo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cordeara Ganado. Rius Tejerizo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Formerio Yzarra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cordeara Ganado might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rius Tejerizo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cordeara Ganado ran back to his position shaking his head. Celipe Carranceja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Fortunato Alzorbe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fortunato Alzorbe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celipe Carranceja in the 34th minute of play. Carautico's Celipe Carranceja got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eduardo Villaba's late challenge caught a Carautico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Villaba helped the player get up and apologised. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Masaguaro! The referee gave Carautico a penalty, 42 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Corderro Merlo, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Masaguaro's Fortunato Alzorbe. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Celipe Carranceja stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fortunato Alzorbe came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Carautico's Enrico Insausti. But to his dismay, Enrico Insausti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Enrico Insausti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fortunato Alzorbe having to interfere. Rius Tejerizo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cordeara Ganado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Carautico's zone, Cordeara Ganado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rius Tejerizo came out of the goal and Cordeara Ganado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Carautico booed when Masaguaro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduardo Villaba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Celipe Carranceja received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fortunato Alzorbe came out and tried to block the shot, but Celipe Carranceja slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 69th minute. Fortunato Alzorbe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celipe Carranceja in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Gaspard Gatica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 81 minutes into the match, Carautico's Celipe Carranceja sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fortunato Alzorbe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 82nd match minute, Masaguaro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gervaso Carragal to maneuver through the defense. Celipe Carranceja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Enrico Insausti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 98th minute, Enrico Insausti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carautico played a much better game than Masaguaro and deserved their victory. The Masaguaro players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
