Millrick Henriquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Valerio Gavela made a huge save. Valerio Gavela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aimar Tablares, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Honorio Vazquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Osoitz Rosinos. Atlético San Cristóbal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorio Vazquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Galindo Domaquia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osoitz Rosinos having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Aimar Tablares made a precise shot to the right of Valerio Gavela. Palmiro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 27th minute, Atlético San Cristóbal's Aimar Tablares ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valerio Gavela. Valerio Gavela yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. If Galindo Domaquia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Curcio Mesones hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Sergio Polo, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Aimar Tablares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Millrick Henriquez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Valerio Gavela made a huge save. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Honorio Vazquez to strike the kick off in the second half. Palmiro's Valerio Gavela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aimar Tablares in the 55th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Galindo Domaquia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Modesto Garcidueñas's late challenge caught a Palmiro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 61st minute Galindo Domaquia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osoitz Rosinos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Atlético San Cristóbal's Sergio Polo tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Atlético San Cristóbal's Millrick Henriquez got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Curcio Mesones kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Millrick Henriquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arsenio Aceves hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Galindo Domaquia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 92 minutes, Millrick Henriquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético San Cristóbal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Millrick Henriquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aimar Tablares struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Valerio Gavela didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético San Cristóbal. In the 97th match minute, Atlético San Cristóbal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Polo to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Atlético San Cristóbal fully deserved thier win.
