Seating: 1705, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Macerio Laranga started the match with the kick off. Lapurdi Casares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Enol Mendizabal managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Jacabo's Lapurdi Casares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Albarico booed when Jacabo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ofelio Amescua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lapurdi Casares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Enol Mendizabal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Albarico's goal looked a bit too open when Edgardo Urdapilleta came free, but Enol Mendizabal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacabo's Ostots Tejada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olivar Llantaron in the 22nd minute of play. Lapurdi Casares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enol Mendizabal having to interfere. In the 26th match minute, Jacabo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicollao Orive to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Macerio Laranga in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ostots Tejada saved Jacabo from getting behind. Olivar Llantaron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ostots Tejada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lapurdi Casares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lapurdi Casares struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Enol Mendizabal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jacabo. Olivar Llantaron took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ostots Tejada. Ostots Tejada dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgardo Urdapilleta to make the kick off. In the 55th minute, Ofelio Amescua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Lapurdi Casares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enol Mendizabal was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. In the 60th minute, Edgardo Urdapilleta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 62 played minutes Albarico got a freekick which was hit by Macerio Laranga. Ponce Castilla was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 65th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Albarico's Josias Gallerreta got a free kick in the 66th minute. Ostots Tejada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Macerio Laranga, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After 73 played minutes Albarico got a freekick which was hit by Cristofor Esnarriaga. An unexpectedly hard shot by Macerio Laranga in the 86th minute of play forced Jacabo's goalkeeper Ostots Tejada to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enol Mendizabal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Urdapilleta in the 93rd minute of play. Lapurdi Casares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Enol Mendizabal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
