The Baronero fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Baronero's Julio Ibarrola looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Baronero's zone, Gabrio Buyolo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Orti Zurica came out of the goal and Gabrio Buyolo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Joselito Trillanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joselito Trillanes made a kick off. Timeteo Aviñante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joselito Trillanes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Baronero booed when Curairima FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Azeari Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baronero's supporters rose to their feet, but Joselito Trillanes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timeteo Aviñante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joselito Trillanes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Timeteo Aviñante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Joselito Trillanes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Timeteo Aviñante having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Julio Ibarrola managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baronero's supporters rose to their feet, but Julio Ibarrola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Timeteo Aviñante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Magdaleno Iraegui hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Guilabertus Toyo, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpected shot in the 85th minute by Gabrio Buyolo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Gabrio Buyolo came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Curairima FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabrio Buyolo couldn't finish the play. If Xanti Cidiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Orti Zurica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabrio Buyolo in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Curairima FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Baronero.
