The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Rik Larrinaga successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Real Maturin C.F.'s Luzaide Grijan got a free kick in the 9th minute. Vedillo Ybañez kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Luzaide Grijan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Llin Colina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Llin Colina came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Real Maturin C.F.'s Omar Aguiar. But to his dismay, Omar Aguiar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gonzo Flamenco's late challenge caught a Real Maturin C.F.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gonzo Flamenco helped the player get up and apologised. After 27 played minutes Palmarejo got a freekick which was hit by Gonzo Flamenco. Rik Larrinaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernandez Almarza in the 32nd minute of the match. Zuriko Agosto kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Omar Aguiar in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Llin Colina prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Blai Vinayo kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Balasi Hera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rik Larrinaga having to interfere. Balasi Hera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Rik Larrinaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mannuel Ceberiche to strike the kick off in the second half. Omar Aguiar in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Llin Colina, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 60 minutes, Balasi Hera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmarejo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balasi Hera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Gonzo Flamenco was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 63 minutes had been played. Gonzo Flamenco kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 67 minutes, Dráuzio Moreno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Maturin C.F. and the Palmarejo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dráuzio Moreno hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute Joselito Vigil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rik Larrinaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Gorka Maceira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Real Maturin C.F.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmarejo the free kick. After 70 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Real Maturin C.F.! An unexpectedly hard shot by Blai Vinayo in the 76th minute of play forced Real Maturin C.F.'s goalkeeper Rik Larrinaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mannuel Ceberiche in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Llin Colina saved Palmarejo from getting behind. Omar Aguiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Llin Colina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, Palmarejo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernandez Almarza to maneuver through the defense. When Mannuel Ceberiche came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Real Maturin C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mannuel Ceberiche couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Real Maturin C.F.'s zone, Balasi Hera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rik Larrinaga came out of the goal and Balasi Hera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
