But to his dismay, Loco Mañueco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Loco Mañueco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Ontanilla having to interfere. Guareguare FC's Celedonio Ontanilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Mañueco in the 45th minute of play. The Guareguare FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Corderito FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Camerino Engraba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Camerino Engraba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guareguare FC's Celedonio Ontanilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Narciso Buergo came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Guareguare FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narciso Buergo couldn't finish the play. Guareguare FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corderito FC the free kick. Handi Pedriza hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match.
