In the 7th minute of the match Lleir Cintron sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bela Rey skillfully saved the ball. Carutal's Bela Rey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Montay Leyva in the 19th minute of play. Ronaldo Lucena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dunixi Ruy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Ruidiez in the 22nd minute of the match. Bruno Ruidiez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Dunixi Ruy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dunixi Ruy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Platon Palanca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Platon Palanca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dunixi Ruy. Mocochope's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Platon Palanca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Bruno Ruidiez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dunixi Ruy having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Bela Rey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Montay Leyva in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 55th minute, Carutal's Platon Palanca ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dunixi Ruy. Dunixi Ruy yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Montay Leyva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bela Rey having to interfere. In the 61st minute Ronaldo Lucena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bela Rey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Ruidiez struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Dunixi Ruy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carutal. If Ronaldo Lucena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bela Rey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Lucena in the 68th minute of the match. Bruno Ruidiez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 73 minutes, Ronaldo Lucena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mocochope's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ronaldo Lucena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Montay Leyva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Bela Rey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Libertad Sorzano charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Libertad Sorzano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Mocochope's Libertad Sorzano got a free kick in the 77th minute. Mocochope's Dunixi Ruy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Mocochope from getting a goal against them. If Platon Palanca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Montay Leyva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Bela Rey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Ronaldo Lucena made a precise shot to the right of Bela Rey. Carutal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. The Carutal supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Carutal would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
