Baldomiro Aspe made a great header on Alegria's corner, it was just that Arrecoston FC's Joseph Alcalde managed to reach the ball for a save. Lehoi Herencia charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lehoi Herencia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Alegria getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Lehoi Herencia hit a great ball. Roegelio Ariño acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ursino Montarco. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Viñe in the 22nd minute of play forced Alegria's goalkeeper Roegelio Ariño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Justo Viñe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roegelio Ariño having to interfere. 41 minutes into the game, Pietro Pizaño cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Joseph Alcalde was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Justo Viñe made the kick off in the second half. 59 minutes into the game, Emenon Casas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arrecoston FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alegria the free kick. The supporters of Alegria booed when Arrecoston FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emenon Casas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Ongile Bodon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alegria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Pietro Pizaño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joseph Alcalde having to interfere. Joseph Alcalde was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Ongile Bodon capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ongile Bodon really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Osmundo Paternina hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Ongile Bodon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Joseph Alcalde tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pietro Pizaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roegelio Ariño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asteri Bernedo in the 94th minute of play. When Justo Viñe got free in front of the goal in the 96th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Roegelio Ariño was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Alegria walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
