Spectators: 6714 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pelagius Uranga kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd minute Leobardo Zaldos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Botello Valles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Botello Valles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignado Ezcurra in the 4th minute. Botello Valles made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Ignado Ezcurra sent off a good shot on target. Alberino Merino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pelagius Uranga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Marcelo Mantecon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Botello Valles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leobardo Zaldos in the 16th minute of play. Ignado Ezcurra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Botello Valles having to make a save. The supporters of California booed when Burgua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niguel Carbajal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Goizeder Valentin kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. California's Felipe Pineda shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 34th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Botello Valles but with some difficulty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ignado Ezcurra got free with Botello Valles in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ignado Ezcurra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 45 minutes into the match, California's goal looked a bit too open when Pelagius Uranga came free, but Alberino Merino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neto Sobarzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Alberino Merino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leobardo Zaldos made a kick off. Botello Valles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignado Ezcurra in the 51st minute of the match. Ignado Ezcurra scored 1-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Botello Valles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alberino Merino was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Pelagius Uranga capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pelagius Uranga really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 65th match minute, California was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Pineda to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignado Ezcurra in the 68th minute of play forced Burgua's goalkeeper Botello Valles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leobardo Zaldos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Botello Valles having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Burgua's Goizeder Valentin got a free kick in the 83rd minute. The corner ended in Felipe Pineda almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Burgua's Botello Valles did a great save. Botello Valles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leobardo Zaldos, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Neto Sobarzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Alberino Merino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the game, Bladi Basozabal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. California's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Burgua the free kick. In the 93rd match minute, California was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bladi Basozabal to maneuver through the defense. Burgua's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Benat Cordon in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Burgua walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
