Spectators: 6702 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1702, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Juan-Alfredo Caroso kicked off to start the match. Bladi Basozabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. California's Ignado Ezcurra managed to work through Wevereno's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Ignado Ezcurra dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 12th match minute, Wevereno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Atilano Mendibuey to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Wevereno's Beremundo Rino got control of the ball when Ignado Ezcurra tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leobardo Zaldos in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beremundo Rino saved Wevereno from getting behind. When California's Leobardo Zaldos in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wevereno's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leobardo Zaldos in the 24th minute of play forced Wevereno's goalkeeper Beremundo Rino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 25th minute Leobardo Zaldos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Beremundo Rino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Wevereno getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Lluterio Velilla hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Wevereno's goal looked a bit too open when Leobardo Zaldos came free, but Beremundo Rino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 minutes, Ignado Ezcurra made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Wevereno's Beremundo Rino tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Leobardo Zaldos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leobardo Zaldos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beremundo Rino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. When Hondo Acuña fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored California's protests and gave Hondo Acuña a yellow card for diving instead. After 42 played minutes California got a freekick which was hit by Hondo Acuña. If Telo Cemborain had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

After 53 played minutes, California's Tab Tomas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Beremundo Rino came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in California reached it. In the 56th minute, California's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Juan-Alfredo Caroso fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 59th match minute, California was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Su Escajadillo to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Vachon Lozada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wevereno's supporters rose to their feet, but Vachon Lozada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberino Merino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. California's Ignado Ezcurra got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vachon Lozada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juan-Alfredo Caroso in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alberino Merino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute, Leobardo Zaldos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The California fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some careless play in the California defense, Vachon Lozada kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alberino Merino. The California fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alberino Merino should have stopped the shot. Ignado Ezcurra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Beremundo Rino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leobardo Zaldos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. California's Leobardo Zaldos got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. California were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Wevereno for a fine match.
