The audience was convinced that Dalmu Rioseras's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artur Herreros was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. If Bordat Lazcano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Herreros made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Jobo Opazo sent off a good shot on target.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dalmu Rioseras was the one to do the kick off. Artur Herreros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmu Rioseras in the 53rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Jobo Opazo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caimital FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jobo Opazo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Artur Herreros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Higinio Villamor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jax Tejerizo having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bordat Lazcano got free with Jax Tejerizo in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jax Tejerizo made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Bordat Lazcano sent off a good shot on target. Bordat Lazcano in the 84thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jax Tejerizo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Blasco Viñambres during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Jobo Opazo came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Caimital FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jobo Opazo couldn't finish the play. Caimital FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
