Spectators: 6712 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1711, VIP seats: 1) When Gottfrid Edström came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Atlético Guarenas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gottfrid Edström couldn't finish the play. Botyo Zaev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joey Avellaneda in the 5th minute of the match. Sendoa Urtubia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jelle Driesen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gottfrid Edström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sendoa Urtubia having to interfere. If Gabino Trasgallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th match minute, Menin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Noreña to maneuver through the defense. Gottfrid Edström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Sendoa Urtubia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Menin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Oliveras came free, but Sendoa Urtubia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Vinicio Rotges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sendoa Urtubia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascoal Cambas struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Sendoa Urtubia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Guarenas. A collision led to Menin FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Blasi Aguiriano hit a great ball. After 27 played minutes Menin FC got a freekick which was hit by Gauargi Terrazas. Sendoa Urtubia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Oliveras in the 28th minute of play. Menin FC's Sendoa Urtubia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu Valea in the 30th minute of play. In the 47th minute, Gabino Trasgallo made a precise shot to the right of Sendoa Urtubia. Menin FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1.

Sanson Machon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Botyo Zaev having to make a save. Kelemen Magdaleno kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Sendoa Urtubia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabino Trasgallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Gottfrid Edström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Sendoa Urtubia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Sanson Machon notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Atlético Guarenas's Botyo Zaev. Botyo Zaev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 72nd minute Joey Avellaneda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Botyo Zaev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Menin FC's Sendoa Urtubia got control of the ball when Gabino Trasgallo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gottfrid Edström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sendoa Urtubia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Gottfrid Edström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Sendoa Urtubia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabino Trasgallo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rameriz Salbago hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Gabino Trasgallo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sendoa Urtubia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gottfrid Edström's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. The supporters of Menin FC booed when Atlético Guarenas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richard Toro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 minutes of play, Menin FC's Sanson Machon made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Botyo Zaev was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Menin FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
