Falcón's Anacleto Leciana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yiyo Peñacastillo in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute, Hurko Maceira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Jorge-Luis González had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, U.A. Falcón's Misael Peñuñuri got a free kick in the 44th minute. Yiyo Peñacastillo took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Anacleto Leciana. Anacleto Leciana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yiyo Peñacastillo was the one to do the kick off. 64 minutes into the match, U.A. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yiyo Peñacastillo got free with Anacleto Leciana in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Yiyo Peñacastillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anacleto Leciana was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. In the 90th minute, Yiyo Peñacastillo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Anacleto Leciana, passed just outside the right post. After 93 played minutes Jorge-Luis González rounded U.A. Falcón's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-4. The Lechozal FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lechozal FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
