In the 19th minute Eduardo Icazate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Magadan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julian Gabiña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quintyn Galera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lawrence Cecilia's late challenge caught a Al Ahed Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lawrence Cecilia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute of the match Herensuge Ascarretazabal sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabio Magadan skillfully saved the ball. After 26 played minutes Al Ahed Club got a freekick which was hit by Tabby Torrado. A collision led to Al Ahed Club getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Tabby Torrado hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Icazate in the 29th minute of play forced Al Ahed Club's goalkeeper Fabio Magadan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caracakingo Villahoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Magadan having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Al Ahed Club players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
