Burutzagi Chavarri could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Caetano Merida made a huge save. In the 21st match minute, Marcillal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batista Ferreras to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the match, Marcillal's goal looked a bit too open when Quintyn Galera came free, but Caetano Merida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Burutzagi Chavarri fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Elias Basaran struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Fabio Magadan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marcillal. Marcillal's Caetano Merida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Quintyn Galera in the 33rd minute of play. Marcillal's Bladi Mulas got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tabby Torrado kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After having played for 38 minutes, Elias Basaran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marcillal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Basaran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Al Ahed Club getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Marcelo Trelles hit a great ball. Fabio Magadan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bladi Mulas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Bladi Mulas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabio Magadan having to interfere. Bladi Mulas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Fabio Magadan made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Marcillal's zone, Burutzagi Chavarri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caetano Merida came out of the goal and Burutzagi Chavarri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the match, Al Ahed Club's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Basaran came free, but Fabio Magadan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Elias Basaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Basaran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 64 minutes into the match, Marcillal's goal looked a bit too open when Burutzagi Chavarri came free, but Caetano Merida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Quintyn Galera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caetano Merida was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Al Ahed Club's goalkeeper Fabio Magadan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Caetano Merida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burutzagi Chavarri in the 90th minute of play. Fabio Magadan was a little too slow when Elias Basaran got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 1-3.
