Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Orain Carranza started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Deportivo Armenio's goalkeeper Poz Dean had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hugo Lamiar. In the 5th minute Orain Carranza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aires Liquiñano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orain Carranza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Aires Liquiñano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 minutes, Lidon Yurrita mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Deportivo Armenio and the Tinajita players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Armenio's Lidon Yurrita got a free kick in the 18th minute. Orain Carranza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 28 minutes, Orain Carranza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Armenio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orain Carranza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aires Liquiñano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orain Carranza's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Poz Dean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raymond Olavarria in the 35th minute of play. When Bertran Olmedo fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Deportivo Armenio's protests and gave Bertran Olmedo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 37th minute, Bertran Olmedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Poz Dean was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Hugo Lamiar capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hugo Lamiar really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. In the 44th match minute, Deportivo Armenio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Irastorza to maneuver through the defense. Kevin Maltrana was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Orain Carranza struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Aires Liquiñano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Armenio. Izotz Rivas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aires Liquiñano came out and tried to block the shot, but Izotz Rivas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 56th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Orain Carranza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Armenio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orain Carranza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Orain Carranza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hugo Lamiar in the 78th minute of play forced Deportivo Armenio's goalkeeper Poz Dean to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aires Liquiñano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orain Carranza in the 81st minute of play. Poz Dean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Lamiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Tinajita's Hugo Lamiar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Poz Dean narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Tinajita's Xurde Ordoñez got a free kick in the 88th minute. Aires Liquiñano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orain Carranza in the 91st minute of the match. 95 minutes into the game, Xurde Ordoñez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tinajita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Armenio the free kick. Xurde Ordoñez kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Aires Liquiñano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orain Carranza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Armenio's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
