Ferran Canzino charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ferran Canzino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ferran Canzino hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 1-0 became the score in the 7th minute when Oswaldo Mercadillo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After having played for 18 minutes, Şansal Ezrak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético La Guaira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şansal Ezrak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mogel Pis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rioja Villalambrus in the 23rd minute of play. Rioja Villalambrus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Mogel Pis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uxio Brizuela could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Lucado Almaguer made a huge save. Frichoso Ingla hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Eguerdi Arijola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Matacan FC's Frichoso Ingla got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Oswaldo Mercadillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucado Almaguer having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Oswaldo Mercadillo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético La Guaira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Mercadillo in the 60th minute of play forced Matacan FC's goalkeeper Lucado Almaguer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Ferran Canzino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lucado Almaguer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şansal Ezrak in the 66th minute of play. After some careless play in the Matacan FC defense, Oswaldo Mercadillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucado Almaguer. The Matacan FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucado Almaguer should have stopped the shot. 71 minutes into the match, Oswaldo Mercadillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lucado Almaguer. Matacan FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oswaldo Mercadillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Lucado Almaguer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Oswaldo Mercadillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rioja Villalambrus in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mogel Pis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matacan FC's Lucado Almaguer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eguerdi Arijola in the 80th minute of play. Frichoso Ingla hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Oswaldo Mercadillo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lucado Almaguer having to make a save. Oswaldo Mercadillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lucado Almaguer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oswaldo Mercadillo ran back to his position shaking his head. Eguerdi Arijola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucado Almaguer having to interfere. Lucado Almaguer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oswaldo Mercadillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eguerdi Arijola in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lucado Almaguer saved Matacan FC from getting behind. Lucado Almaguer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honrio Lavalle, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd match minute, Club Atlético La Guaira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eguerdi Arijola to maneuver through the defense. Rioja Villalambrus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Honrio Lavalle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee ended the match the Club Atlético La Guaira players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
