Botucare's Monte Entrambasaguas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Botucare from getting a goal against them. Gueime's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Botucare the free kick. A collision led to Gueime getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Quintan Abel hit a great ball. In the 21st minute Checa Perales shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Suero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Monte Entrambasaguas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theodore Algarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tadeo Gorostarzu during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gueime's Aaron Suero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Checa Perales in the 31st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Checa Perales managed to get in a good position for a shot. Botucare's supporters rose to their feet, but Checa Perales was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Suero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Orixe Pedriza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Theodore Algarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Monte Entrambasaguas having to interfere. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Cefero Jaquinot made the kick off in the second half. Botucare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Checa Perales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Gueime's zone, Checa Perales stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aaron Suero came out of the goal and Checa Perales tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Orixe Pedriza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theodore Algarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Checa Perales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Aaron Suero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orixe Pedriza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
