Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Maurin Illan kicked off to start the match. Vereno's Kimetz Serantes got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 4th minute Perrando Frenes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Caballol saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th match minute, Vereno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Fuentecilla to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the game, Pablo Fuentecilla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vereno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Catacaguana FC the free kick. Pablo Fuentecilla kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Catacaguana FC's Elizardo Hualde couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Vereno. If Perrando Frenes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salomon Urtubia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 22ndth minute, Lauren Barrueta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Salomon Urtubia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lauren Barrueta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salomon Urtubia's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Pablo Fuentecilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lauren Barrueta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salomon Urtubia in the 38th minute of the match. Maurin Illan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vereno's Javier Caballol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurin Illan in the 41st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kimetz Serantes got free with Lauren Barrueta in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Vereno's Salomon Urtubia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lauren Barrueta. That made the score 1-1 after 50 minutes of play.

A collision led to Catacaguana FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Fagondo Centeno hit a great ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Salomon Urtubia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vereno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Salomon Urtubia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 64 minutes, Kimetz Serantes put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lauren Barrueta. If Salomon Urtubia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Macias Pedrueza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Javier Caballol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Javier Caballol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurin Illan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kimetz Serantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauren Barrueta having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salomon Urtubia in the 96th minute of play forced Catacaguana FC's goalkeeper Lauren Barrueta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kimetz Serantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauren Barrueta having to interfere. In the 99th match minute, Catacaguana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serapio Tapia to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 100th minute, Kimetz Serantes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vereno's supporters rose to their feet, but Kimetz Serantes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lauren Barrueta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Vereno had won after a very even match.
