The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oliviero Bricianos during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute, Oliviero Bricianos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes into the game, Sedeni Pontones was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mirinday FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Pirañas the free kick. Zosimo Baptiste hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Zosimo Baptiste's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernebe Castellanos was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Oliviero Bricianos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Roldan Mascarañas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernebe Castellanos was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Roldan Mascarañas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mirinday FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roldan Mascarañas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernebe Castellanos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zosimo Baptiste in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernebe Castellanos saved Club Atletico Pirañas from getting behind. Bernebe Castellanos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roldan Mascarañas in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Mirinday FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zosimo Baptiste to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Mirinday FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernado Caroso came free, but Palban Lujarra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zosimo Baptiste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roldan Mascarañas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Bernebe Castellanos having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Roldan Mascarañas took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Bernebe Castellanos to make any attempt to save it. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Pirañas's zone, Zosimo Baptiste stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernebe Castellanos came out of the goal and Zosimo Baptiste tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zosimo Baptiste recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernebe Castellanos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roldan Mascarañas in the 77th minute of play. In the 80th minute Bermudo Tristan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Palban Lujarra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roldan Mascarañas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Bermudo Tristan made a precise shot to the right of Palban Lujarra. Mirinday FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. A collision led to Club Atletico Pirañas getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Telo Ricaredo hit a great ball. Zosimo Baptiste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mirinday FC played a much better game than Club Atletico Pirañas and deserved their victory. The Club Atletico Pirañas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
