Guacujisa's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximo Ebro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Tehas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chago Rossell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chago Rossell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xantalen Villarroel having to interfere. Chago Rossell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Xantalen Villarroel made a huge save. Xantalen Villarroel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilazki Escuza, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Juan Tehas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Ebro in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Nerrera FC's Severino Docanado got a free kick in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Nerrera FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ilixo Respaldiza came free, but Juan Tehas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Tehas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bras Duran in the 24th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bras Duran in the 30th minute of play forced Nerrera FC's goalkeeper Juan Tehas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Bras Duran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Tehas was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Juan Tehas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bras Duran's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Ilazki Escuza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Xantalen Villarroel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ilazki Escuza to make the kick off. After having played for 68 minutes, Chago Rossell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nerrera FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chago Rossell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xantalen Villarroel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilazki Escuza in the 70th minute of the match. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nerrera FC's goalkeeper Juan Tehas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Maximo Ebro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Chago Rossell made a precise shot to the right of Xantalen Villarroel. Guacujisa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2.
