Spectators: 7349 (Terracing: 5600, Seating: 1600, VIP seats: 149) In the 4th minute Cayo Izaga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillelmo Navarrete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Cardones's goal looked a bit too open when Maureo Albizuri came free, but Bernebe Vilardell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aresti Larez kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 8 minutes into the match, Atlético Barinas's goal looked a bit too open when Fabio Arechavala came free, but Guillelmo Navarrete reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guillelmo Navarrete showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cayo Izaga in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Arechavala in the 10th minute of play forced Atlético Barinas's goalkeeper Guillelmo Navarrete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cayo Izaga hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Guillelmo Navarrete came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Cardones's Fabio Arechavala. But to his dismay, Fabio Arechavala quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Cayo Izaga fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cardones's protests and gave Cayo Izaga a yellow card for diving instead. Cayo Izaga hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Maureo Albizuri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Bernebe Vilardell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Cayo Izaga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guillelmo Navarrete was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 26 minutes of play, Cardones's Cayo Izaga made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guillelmo Navarrete was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the match, Fabio Arechavala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guillelmo Navarrete. Atlético Barinas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabio Arechavala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 33 minutes into the game, Fabio Arechavala cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Guillelmo Navarrete was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 38 minutes into the match, Cardones's goalkeeper Bernebe Vilardell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cilio Munguira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabio Arechavala in the 42nd minute of play forced Atlético Barinas's goalkeeper Guillelmo Navarrete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Maureo Albizuri lined in a short shot 1-5 behind a frustrated Bernebe Vilardell. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-5.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cilio Munguira was the one to do the kick off. Bernebe Vilardell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maureo Albizuri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 56th minute of the match Panpili Fresco completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Panpili Fresco a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Guillelmo Navarrete made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Arechavala in the 65th minute of play. After 68 minutes of play, Cardones's Videl Guiluz made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Guillelmo Navarrete was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 71 played minutes Cardones got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Arechavala. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cilio Munguira in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bernebe Vilardell prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aresti Larez took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guillelmo Navarrete. Guillelmo Navarrete dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-7. Chico Fortuño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernebe Vilardell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maureo Albizuri in the 80th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cardones's Cayo Izaga got a free kick in the 81st minute. The supporters of Cardones booed when Atlético Barinas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martinez Leal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romo Irala hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Atlético Barinas's Guillelmo Navarrete proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Barinas from getting a goal against them. The Atlético Barinas fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cardones were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
