In the 4th minute of the match Rodriguez Trespalacios sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ignazio Gabi skillfully saved the ball. Frechoso Vados's late challenge caught a LasColonias FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Frechoso Vados helped the player get up and apologised. An unexpectedly hard shot by Napier Carreira in the 8th minute of play forced Sombrereta's goalkeeper Ignazio Gabi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LasColonias FC's Jerrold Juanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Oñiderra in the 12th minute of play. Xzavier Ugia kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Ignazio Gabi made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Kevin Egea sent off a good shot on target. When LasColonias FC's Napier Carreira, in the 21st minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for LasColonias FC. After a rather tough play, Sombrereta's Paulino Masferrer got a free kick in the 24th minute. Rodriguez Trespalacios was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 25th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hustaz Castelo during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lucio Trigueros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jerrold Juanes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Jerrold Juanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Trigueros, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Felix Oñiderra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jerrold Juanes having to make a save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Napier Carreira made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Napier Carreira in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ignazio Gabi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ignazio Gabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Napier Carreira in the 64th minute of the match. When Lucio Trigueros came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Sombrereta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucio Trigueros couldn't finish the play. If Kevin Egea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Oñiderra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kevin Egea in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ignazio Gabi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Kevin Egea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ignazio Gabi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Napier Carreira in the 88th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, LasColonias FC's Napier Carreira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ignazio Gabi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Kevin Egea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpected shot in the 97th minute by Lucio Trigueros got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. LasColonias FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sombrereta for a fine match.
