Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) Manirote's Chayo Iban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timoteo Rebolloso in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esperancita's goalkeeper Alex Quijada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. David Moraina hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. If Larra Pelaez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Birjaio Fominaya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manirote's supporters rose to their feet, but Birjaio Fominaya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Quijada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Magdaleno Valera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xacintu Mondragon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Alex Quijada when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Xacintu Mondragon hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Xacintu Mondragon fired away a hard free kick towards the goal. Alex Quijada moved to his left, but didn't have to make a save as the ball went out of bounds. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timoteo Rebolloso in the 31st minute of play forced Manirote's goalkeeper Chayo Iban to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Gilberto Torrealba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Xacintu Mondragon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manirote's Magdaleno Valera got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alex Quijada stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Magdaleno Valera's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Esperancita's Alex Quijada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Esperancita from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timoteo Rebolloso to make the kick off. If Xacintu Mondragon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Esperancita getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Larra Pelaez hit a great ball. Xacintu Mondragon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manirote's Magdaleno Valera got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Larra Pelaez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, Xacintu Mondragon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alex Quijada was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After having played for 85 minutes, Larra Pelaez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esperancita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Larra Pelaez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Timoteo Rebolloso scored 2-1 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chayo Iban, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Xacintu Mondragon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Alex Quijada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Manirote fans cheered their team off the field, for while Esperancita had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
