Polo Gordo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cataniapo. Xosepin Somavilla kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Oswaldo Yurre put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Polo Gordo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oswaldo Yurre in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Polo Gordo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Oswaldo Yurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Domingote FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oswaldo Yurre came free, but Polo Gordo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Polo Gordo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oswaldo Yurre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Cataniapo's Bibiano Mendiola got a free kick in the 47th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Domingote FC's Gorbea Peralta broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

The wind increased when Oswaldo Yurre made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Domingote FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Bizoso to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Domingote FC defense, Gines Santoyo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Polo Gordo. The Domingote FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Polo Gordo should have stopped the shot. Oswaldo Yurre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Polo Gordo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Oswaldo Yurre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Bizoso in the 68th minute of play forced Cataniapo's goalkeeper Hernandez Guinda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Domingote FC's Carlos Bizoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernandez Guinda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Oswaldo Yurre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 86 in the game by Gines Santoyo from a close distance when the talented Polo Gordo managed to make a qualified save. Domingote FC's players were relieved. In the 91st match minute, Cataniapo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Olazagoitia to maneuver through the defense. Domingote FC's Gorbea Peralta couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cataniapo. Cataniapo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
