Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 13thth minute of the game Ondino Eureste who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cachaza FC's Remir Soraiz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Muyapa's Evelio Sorrarain got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cachaza FC's Fermin Paternina got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Anastasio Galnares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remir Soraiz having to interfere. Remir Soraiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Evelio Sorrarain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Remir Soraiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Anastasio Galnares might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remir Soraiz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anastasio Galnares ran back to his position shaking his head. Anastasio Galnares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The supporters of Cachaza FC booed when Muyapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ondino Eureste didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Evelio Sorrarain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Muyapa's supporters rose to their feet, but Evelio Sorrarain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Remir Soraiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iratze Hergueta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute, Tavio Gallano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Cachaza FC's zone, Anastasio Galnares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remir Soraiz came out of the goal and Anastasio Galnares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the game, Anastasio Galnares lined in a short shot 2-2 behind a frustrated Remir Soraiz. If Anastasio Galnares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remir Soraiz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ondino Eureste in the 82nd minute. Tiso Hubieta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zuhaitz Llago having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Anastasio Galnares dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Remir Soraiz, 2-3. Muyapa's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
