Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Luis-Antonio Miña successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Ismael Ribeiro got a free kick in the 11th minute. Luis-Antonio Miña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulryk Czekaj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luis-Antonio Miña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulryk Czekaj in the 14th minute of play. Luis-Antonio Miña was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Samuel Castro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. Paulin Basco kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. CAD Pinar's Ulryk Czekaj got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Ismael Ribeiro got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 20th minute, Bogdan Winograd got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastiano Paliza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulin Basco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ulryk Czekaj came free, but Luis-Antonio Miña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erasto Cardona blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastiano Paliza having to make a save. In the 35th minute, Paulin Basco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Argina Canonega fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastiano Paliza having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ulryk Czekaj came free, but Luis-Antonio Miña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Samuel Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Luis-Antonio Miña made a huge save. 46 minutes into the game, CAD Pinar's Ulryk Czekaj nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Luis-Antonio Miña made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0.
The wind increased when Samuel Castro made the kick off in the second half. Ulryk Czekaj took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luis-Antonio Miña. Luis-Antonio Miña dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 57th minute, Ulryk Czekaj ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luis-Antonio Miña was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulryk Czekaj in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luis-Antonio Miña saved Venezuela from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Fonso Curcio got a free kick in the 64th minute. If Ulryk Czekaj had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute Ulryk Czekaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis-Antonio Miña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 77th minute Samuel Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis-Antonio Miña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th minute Ulryk Czekaj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis-Antonio Miña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luis-Antonio Miña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guilherme Montarco in the 79th minute of the match. After 80 minutes of play, CAD Pinar's Samuel Castro made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luis-Antonio Miña was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gizon Luey made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Juan Amo. Luis-Antonio Miña made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Montarco in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Samuel Castro notched a goal, 8-0, to the right of Venezuela's Luis-Antonio Miña. Luis-Antonio Miña was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A well placed Erasto Cardona short distance shot in the 92nd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Sebastiano Paliza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasto Cardona in the 96th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, CAD Pinar's goalkeeper Sebastiano Paliza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulin Basco. CAD Pinar's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
