An unexpectedly hard shot by Juango Feliph in the 17th minute of play forced Playones's goalkeeper Kepa Iravedra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kepa Iravedra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patxi Lasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Kepa Iravedra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patxi Lasa in the 23rd minute of play. Patxi Lasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kepa Iravedra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juango Feliph went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Zosimo Murueta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Diego Monterroso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Patxi Lasa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goaigoaza's supporters rose to their feet, but Patxi Lasa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kepa Iravedra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 43 minutes into the match, Juango Feliph had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kepa Iravedra. Playones's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Juango Feliph was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Diego Monterroso came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Playones's Zosimo Murueta. But to his dismay, Zosimo Murueta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Diego Monterroso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zosimo Murueta in the 57th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patxi Lasa in the 58th minute of play forced Playones's goalkeeper Kepa Iravedra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th minute, Nastasio Cendan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nastasio Cendan in the 62nd minute of play forced Goaigoaza's goalkeeper Diego Monterroso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Monterroso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nastasio Cendan in the 63rd minute of the match. Goaigoaza's Juango Feliph got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Patxi Lasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patxi Lasa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Kepa Iravedra came out and tried to block the shot, but Patxi Lasa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 74th minute. Juango Feliph who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Kepa Iravedra when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Juango Feliph could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Kepa Iravedra made a huge save. After having played for 94 minutes, Zosimo Murueta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Playones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zosimo Murueta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Goaigoaza walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
