Donato Campero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romano Aladro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merexildo Villalobos in the 14th minute of the match. Merexildo Villalobos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Merexildo Villalobos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Ivon Guisla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Moises Nuevo struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Emmanuel Espinoza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Michotalito FC. After having played for 45 minutes, Moises Nuevo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Michotalito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Nuevo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michotalito FC's Moises Nuevo got a good chance for a goal in the 50th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Moises Nuevo made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Moises Nuevo lined in a short shot 0-1 behind a frustrated Emmanuel Espinoza. Romano Aladro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Restu Faubelo, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 69 minutes into the game, Esquipula Capacho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Michotalito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galucheras FC the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Michotalito FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 69th minute. Penalty! Romano Aladro had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Ivon Guisla's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 70th minute, Ivon Guisla made a precise shot to the right of Romano Aladro. Michotalito FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 74th match minute, Michotalito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esquipula Capacho to maneuver through the defense. Romano Aladro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Campero in the 84th minute of play.
