In the 25thth minute of the game Bertin Ponce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carretal's Egoi Barrera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carretal's Egoi Barrera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Carretal from getting a goal against them. When Catarico FC's Bertin Ponce in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Danilo Flamenco helped the player get up and apologised. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bertin Ponce stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Maiorga Barbon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raul Ocariz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 57 minutes, Erasmo Ascargorta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carretal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasmo Ascargorta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raul Ocariz hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Garci Santotis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Erasmo Ascargorta came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Carretal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Ascargorta couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the match, Carretal's Erasmo Ascargorta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dino Terres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Garci Santotis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
