Esteves FC's Goyo Barbero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Esteves FC from getting a goal against them. East Tokyo United FC's Oscar Euloxu managed to work through Esteves FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Oscar Euloxu dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. After a defensive mix-up in Esteves FC's zone, Garoa Bratuti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Goyo Barbero came out of the goal and Garoa Bratuti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 1-0 became the score in the 12th minute when Garoa Bratuti elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, East Tokyo United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emmanuel Turiel came free, but Stan Wouters reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Shantala Lejobeitia hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Garoa Bratuti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goyo Barbero having to interfere. In the 30th minute, Gilberto Vallearena hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th match minute, Esteves FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emmanuel Turiel to maneuver through the defense. Garoa Bratutis short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Goyo Barbero to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A hard shot 43 in the game by Garoa Bratuti from a close distance when the talented Goyo Barbero managed to make a qualified save. Esteves FC's players were relieved. Oscar Euloxu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Goyo Barbero having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Garoa Bratuti to strike the kick off in the second half. East Tokyo United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Euloxu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esteves FC's Goyo Barbero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Garoa Bratuti in the 61st minute of play. Goyo Barbero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Garoa Bratuti's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Garoa Bratuti in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Goyo Barbero saved Esteves FC from getting behind. Ticho Uriona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Esteves FC booed when East Tokyo United FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Garoa Bratuti came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the East Tokyo United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garoa Bratuti couldn't finish the play. Stan Wouters showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ticho Uriona, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Goyo Barbero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Garoa Bratuti in the 82nd minute of play. 86 minutes into the game, Oscar Euloxu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Goyo Barbero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 89 minutes, Valentin Jitaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. East Tokyo United FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Jitaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94thth minute of the game Garoa Bratuti who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esteves FC's Goyo Barbero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. East Tokyo United FC had played much better football throughout.
