Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcelino Vegal started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute Marcelino Vegal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teofilo Aller saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donzel Lemayo hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 11thth minute of the game Umbruso Ripalta who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pericocal FC's Guib Vila was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Bernaldo Cuevas fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Icaparu's protests and gave Bernaldo Cuevas a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes Icaparu got a freekick which was hit by Bernaldo Cuevas. Guib Vila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umbruso Ripalta, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Pericocal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Panguision came free, but Guib Vila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 28 minutes, Marcelino Vegal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pericocal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelino Vegal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Marcelino Vegal came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Pericocal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelino Vegal couldn't finish the play. If Frutos Guardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Icaparu's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Orain Zumiel was slow to take the kick. During this time Pericocal FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Orain Zumiel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Teofilo Aller quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Guib Vila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umbruso Ripalta, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 45 minutes into the match, Icaparu's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Vegal came free, but Teofilo Aller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Umbruso Ripalta made a kick off. Guib Vila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umbruso Ripalta, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 59 minutes into the match, Icaparu's goalkeeper Teofilo Aller had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frutos Guardo. Icaparu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 62nd minute, when Marcelino Vegal scored to the left of an out of position Teofilo Aller, making the score, 0-2. Icaparu's Teofilo Aller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Vegal in the 68th minute of play. In the 69th match minute, Icaparu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Panguision to maneuver through the defense. Marcelino Vegal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Icaparu's Umbruso Ripalta fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Guib Vila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernaldo Cuevas in the 75th minute of play. Umbruso Ripalta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Guib Vila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernaldo Cuevas in the 78th minute of play forced Pericocal FC's goalkeeper Guib Vila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofilo Aller was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcelino Vegal showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 89 minute of play. Aresti Maleta charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aresti Maleta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Pericocal FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Pericocal FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
