Lluciano Larramendi took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Domingos Menendo. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Carato FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cascabeles FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Haritz Bernardo, was totally fooled by Cascabeles FC's Quinn Quang, who 26 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 31st minute Eduardo Saldoval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Menendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vagner Love blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Haritz Bernardo having to make a save. Cascabeles FC's Vagner Love got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Quinn Quang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cascabeles FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Quinn Quang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Haritz Bernardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The Cascabeles FC fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Cascabeles FC's Vagner Love looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. When Galo Lena came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Cascabeles FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Galo Lena couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Carato FC booed when Cascabeles FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesco Rosello didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Carato FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vagner Love came free, but Haritz Bernardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Carato FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Haritz Bernardo should have stopped the shot.
