Ermengol Luaces took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xosepin Garnelo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sandoval's goalkeeper Ermengol Luaces, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Matia Tebar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Ermengol Luaces tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Sandoval's goal looked a bit too open when Matia Tebar came free, but Ermengol Luaces reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sandoval's Juango Veragua got a free kick in the 16th minute. Verdun FC's Julen Merayo got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Grabiel Palmades reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Xavierlada Guridi. The goal made the score 1-0. Vinicio Somellera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes in the game, Vinicio Somellera fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Xavierlada Guridi having to interfere. A hard shot by Macerio Pastrana from long distance, 35 minutes into the match, got Xavierlada Guridi's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. A collision led to Verdun FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Xosepin Garnelo hit a great ball. Verdun FC's Julen Merayo pulled a muscle in his leg after 42 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Macerio Pastrana during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 42 minutes into the game, one of Sandoval:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The wind increased when Grabiel Palmades made the kick off in the second half. Xavierlada Guridi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grabiel Palmades, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xavierlada Guridi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grabiel Palmades, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Verdun FC's Matia Tebar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ermengol Luaces narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 62nd minute, Grabiel Palmades left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sandoval fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Grabiel Palmades in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xavierlada Guridi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 79 played minutes Verdun FC got a freekick which was hit by Bernebe Gurruchaga. If Vinicio Somellera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Grabiel Palmades ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Xavierlada Guridi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sandoval had won after a very even match.
