Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Ganix Bocinos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 13th minute, Rameriz Giumill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 played minutes Lugo FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafel Llaguno. In the 16th minute of the match Mosen Urioste shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ganix Bocinos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Elizardo Morais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loi Garabito having to interfere. Ganix Bocinos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Gamez in the 26th minute of the match. If Flavio Gamez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Lugo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Gamez came free, but Ganix Bocinos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rameriz Giumill hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavio Gamez to make the kick off. Rafel Llaguno hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Lugo FC's Ganix Bocinos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavio Gamez in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, D.S. Mariano Pérez's goalkeeper Loi Garabito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elizardo Morais. Ganix Bocinos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Gamez in the 62nd minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 64th minute by Rameriz Giumill got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ganix Bocinos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mosen Urioste, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Flavio Gamez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ganix Bocinos having to interfere. Lugo FC's Elizardo Morais suffered a concussion after 89 minutes and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zelipe Ampuero during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to D.S. Mariano Pérez getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Zelipe Ampuero hit a great ball. With a little luck, D.S. Mariano Pérez's Loi Garabito got control of the ball when Sidro Alsua tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Lugo FC booed when D.S. Mariano Pérez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ospin Larena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xacintu Provencio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 97 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Lugo FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of D.S. Mariano Pérez:s goal. Mosen Urioste placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! D.S. Mariano Pérez were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
