Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) D.S. Mariano Pérez's Flavio Gamez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zelipe Ampuero during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Loi Garabito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rameriz Giumill's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Elizardo Morais in the 8thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Loi Garabito, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of D.S. Mariano Pérez booed when Lugo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rameriz Giumill didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 12th minute Flavio Gamez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ganix Bocinos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mosen Urioste's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ganix Bocinos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Rameriz Giumill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Loi Garabito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loi Garabito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rameriz Giumill in the 27th minute of the match. Ganix Bocinos came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by D.S. Mariano Pérez's Christiano Roa. But to his dismay, Christiano Roa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elizardo Morais got free with Loi Garabito in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. D.S. Mariano Pérez's Flavio Gamez got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafel Llaguno kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. A hard shot by Zavier Esparza from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Loi Garabito's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rameriz Giumill to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Lugo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Flavio Gamez came free, but Ganix Bocinos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lugo FC's Ganix Bocinos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Lugo FC from getting a goal against them. In the 59thth minute of the game Mosen Urioste who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lugo FC's Ganix Bocinos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ganix Bocinos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flavio Gamez in the 61st minute of the match. After 62 minutes, Rafel Llaguno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lugo FC and the D.S. Mariano Pérez players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rafel Llaguno kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Rameriz Giumill hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 69 minutes in the game, Mosen Urioste fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ganix Bocinos having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lugo FC's Rafel Llaguno got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 76th minute, one of Lugo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lugo FC. When the match had been going on for 78 minutes, D.S. Mariano Pérez's Mosen Urioste got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Ganix Bocinos. When D.S. Mariano Pérez's Flavio Gamez in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lugo FC's goalie prevented a goal. Mariano Pérez getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Matthew Zarra hit a great ball. Loi Garabito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidro Alsua, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. When Flavio Gamez came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the D.S. Mariano Pérez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Gamez couldn't finish the play. When the match was over D.S. Mariano Pérez could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Lugo FC throughout the match.
