In the 3rd minute, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Serafin Fontoya ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Machado Balli. Machado Balli yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Confesor Morillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Anamuren FC booed when Imperio Catatumbo de Lara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percy Freitas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donostia Saribiarte took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Afonso Zabalo. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Serafin Fontoya struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Machado Balli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Imperio Catatumbo de Lara. 12 minutes in the game, Serafin Fontoya fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Machado Balli having to interfere. With a little luck, Anamuren FC's Machado Balli got control of the ball when Frans Antezana tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Serafin Fontoya managed to get in a good position for a shot. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's supporters rose to their feet, but Serafin Fontoya was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Machado Balli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafin Fontoya in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Machado Balli saved Anamuren FC from getting behind. Machado Balli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frans Antezana in the 29th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Birila Tejeria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Machado Balli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 34 minutes, Frans Antezana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frans Antezana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Confesor Morillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frans Antezana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Machado Balli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Serafin Fontoya fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Machado Balli, passed just outside the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Anamuren FC's zone, Frans Antezana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Machado Balli came out of the goal and Frans Antezana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Urtun Torrez to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's Frans Antezana sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Machado Balli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Machado Balli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Fontoya in the 54th minute of play. Frans Antezana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Machado Balli having to interfere. Frans Antezana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 63 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Serafin Fontoya sped through Anamuren FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Machado Balli. In the 68th minute of the match Donostia Saribiarte shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Afonso Zabalo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Serafin Fontoya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Machado Balli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Urtun Torrez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tello Guasch took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Afonso Zabalo. Imperio Catatumbo de Lara's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Anamuren FC's Machado Balli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frans Antezana in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Serafin Fontoya got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Imperio Catatumbo de Lara players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
