Xavian Roque charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xavian Roque the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xavian Roque kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Pericos FC's Jose Cuñat slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bernaldo Berroa. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. When Francho Porras fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Esmeralo's protests and gave Francho Porras a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Esmeralo getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Francho Porras hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Esmeralo's zone, Jose Cuñat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernaldo Berroa came out of the goal and Jose Cuñat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francho Porras hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. If Jose Cuñat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernaldo Berroa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cosme Mauricio in the 26th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Pericos FC's zone, Danel Berenguer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolado Corales came out of the goal and Danel Berenguer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danel Berenguer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Esmeralo booed when Pericos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oier Nembro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jose Cuñat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernaldo Berroa having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Esmeralo's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Cuñat came free, but Bernaldo Berroa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bernaldo Berroa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jose Cuñat, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Xavian Roque took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rolado Corales. Pericos FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Esmeralo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Argoitz Miñaca was slow to take the kick. During this time Pericos FC's players had a chance to rest. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 52 played minutes Esmeralo got a freekick which was hit by Eleazar Licardi. After 53 minutes, Cosme Mauricio made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Esmeralo's Bernaldo Berroa tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 57th minute of the match Maiorga Briceño sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bernaldo Berroa skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Esmeralo's Eleazar Licardi got a free kick in the 58th minute. Esmeralo's Bernaldo Berroa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Cuñat in the 59th minute of play. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Jose Cuñat sped through Esmeralo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernaldo Berroa. In the 64th minute Cosme Mauricio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernaldo Berroa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Pericos FC's Cosme Mauricio in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Esmeralo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 67th minute, Danel Berenguer fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rolado Corales, passed just outside the right post. In the 74th match minute, Esmeralo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Mieses to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose Cuñat in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernaldo Berroa saved Esmeralo from getting behind. 77 minutes into the game, one of Esmeralo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 79th minute there was a penalty for Pericos FC. Argoitz Miñaca stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bernaldo Berroa. 4-0. In the 82nd minute, Jose Cuñat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Argoitz Miñaca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esmeralo's goalkeeper Bernaldo Berroa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the Pericos FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
