Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Jaizki Moro made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, Venintea FC's goalkeeper Orixe Maestu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ederono Terron. Baltasar Maruri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Castulo Eguizabal could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Orixe Maestu however easily saved by the left post. Osorio Echarriza hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After having played for 13 minutes, Ubendu Guitian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Venintea FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ubendu Guitian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Josue Paratorrecilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Victoria in the 15th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Castulo Eguizabal during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Castulo Eguizabal hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Josue Paratorrecilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubendu Guitian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Orixe Maestu managed to avoid a goal in the 21stth minute, when Payara's Castulo Eguizabal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Fernando Victoria came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Venintea FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernando Victoria couldn't finish the play. Josue Paratorrecilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubendu Guitian, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. After 30 minutes of play, Venintea FC's Ubendu Guitian made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Josue Paratorrecilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! Orixe Maestu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sesuldo Galdia in the 34th minute of play. Josue Paratorrecilla came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Venintea FC's Ubendu Guitian. But to his dismay, Ubendu Guitian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Fernando Victoria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ubendu Guitian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josue Paratorrecilla having to interfere. If Fernando Victoria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Venintea FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baltasar Maruri to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Payara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Garavilla to maneuver through the defense. In the 56th match minute, Venintea FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Meder Monagray to maneuver through the defense. Venintea FC's Orixe Maestu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaizki Moro in the 58th minute of play. Josue Paratorrecilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernando Victoria, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Payara's Josue Paratorrecilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Payara from getting a goal against them. If Fernando Victoria had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Castulo Eguizabal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Venintea FC's Meder Monagray got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Ederono Terron kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Castulo Eguizabal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orixe Maestu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Venintea FC booed when Payara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ederono Terron didn't get a good kick on the ball. Venintea FC played a much better game than Payara and deserved their victory. The Payara players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
