With a little luck, Quinimari's Tano Miralles got control of the ball when Damian Estefania tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 28 played minutes Quinimari got a freekick which was hit by Txartiko Dueñas. The audience was convinced that Rio Holguin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danilo Vinambres was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Remigio Puigdellivol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Vinambres having to interfere. Ceandro Güemes charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ceandro Güemes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Quinimari getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Ceandro Güemes hit a great ball. The Merengue De Madrid players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Quinimari were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rio Holguin to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Merengue De Madrid's goal looked a bit too open when Rio Holguin came free, but Danilo Vinambres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st minute of the match, Rio Holguin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Danilo Vinambres saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After having played for 79 minutes, Damian Estefania managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Merengue De Madrid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Estefania was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damian Estefania's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tano Miralles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Damian Estefania sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Remigio Puigdellivol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quinimari's supporters rose to their feet, but Remigio Puigdellivol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danilo Vinambres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute, Damian Estefania made a precise shot to the right of Tano Miralles. Quinimari's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After 92 played minutes Merengue De Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Montano. Merengue De Madrid's Danilo Vinambres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rio Holguin in the 95th minute of play. Danilo Vinambres made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Remigio Puigdellivol sent off a good shot on target. 97 minutes into the game, Ricardo Ferrero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merengue De Madrid's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Quinimari the free kick. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
