In the 19th minute, Merengue De Madrid's Fraco Jordan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dalmacio Zubizarrieta. Dalmacio Zubizarrieta yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. A collision led to Mariri FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Bertol Guerrero hit a great ball. Damian Estefania could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Dalmacio Zubizarrieta made a huge save. Danilo Vinambres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romeo Inestrosa went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Damian Estefania sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mariri FC's Dalmacio Zubizarrieta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fraco Jordan in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Romeo Inestrosa made a kick off. Fraco Jordan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Dalmacio Zubizarrieta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Damian Estefania fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Zubizarrieta having to interfere. When Fraco Jordan came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Merengue De Madrid fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fraco Jordan couldn't finish the play. Fraco Jordan scored 3-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dalmacio Zubizarrieta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd match minute, Merengue De Madrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mendiko Neriz to maneuver through the defense. Dalmacio Zubizarrieta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fraco Jordan's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Dalmacio Zubizarrieta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Estefania, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Dalmacio Zubizarrieta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fraco Jordan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
