Seating: 1706, VIP seats: 0) After a defensive mix-up in Setenta FC's zone, Xuban Bonet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tadzio Nestares came out of the goal and Xuban Bonet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Setenta FC's Gipuzkoa Ibarlucea got a free kick in the 10th minute. 11 minutes into the match, Curvelo's Cordeiro Sustaeta broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Setenta FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Gipuzkoa Ibarlucea hit a great ball. Xuban Bonet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brun Sustaeta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaskon Soria, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 19th minute, Xuban Bonet fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Xuban Bonet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 33 minutes, Mauro Hernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Setenta FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauro Hernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brun Sustaeta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaskon Soria in the 34th minute of play. Tadzio Nestares was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Xuban Bonet capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Xuban Bonet really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When Xuban Bonet came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Curvelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xuban Bonet couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gaskon Soria stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mauro Hernandez succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. After 58 played minutes Setenta FC got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Zapatero. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cordarin Sala in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tadzio Nestares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 66 minutes into the match, Cordarin Sala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tadzio Nestares. Setenta FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cordarin Sala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1.
