After 13 minutes, Paulino Cernadas made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Miusik Zoum FC's Leonel Galarza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 17th play minute Edoardo Ceci came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Joaquim Contera. 2-2. After 24 minutes, Matro Ontaneda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Petroquimica FC and the Miusik Zoum FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 24 played minutes Petroquimica FC got a freekick which was hit by Matro Ontaneda. After a defensive mix-up in Petroquimica FC's zone, Donzel Valenzuela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquim Contera came out of the goal and Donzel Valenzuela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonel Galarza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulino Cernadas, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Checa Luna in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joaquim Contera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Matro Ontaneda was shown his second yellow card after 30 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Miusik Zoum FC booed when Petroquimica FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matro Ontaneda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edoardo Ceci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Joaquim Contera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Edoardo Ceci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Miusik Zoum FC's Reinaldo Beteta was substituted for Orkatz Lloreda. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edoardo Ceci was the one to do the kick off. When Donzel Valenzuela came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Miusik Zoum FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donzel Valenzuela couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the match, Miusik Zoum FC's Donzel Valenzuela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquim Contera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edoardo Ceci in the 92nd minute of play forced Petroquimica FC's goalkeeper Joaquim Contera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Petroquimica FC's Martin Aguiluz got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Edoardo Ceci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
