Spectators: 6740 (Terracing: 5001, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alberto Aldama took the kick off in the first half of the match. Porfiro Arrascarate hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Cordarius Arenal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loreto Rello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The corner led Araju FC's Atarrabi Vilaro to fire away a dangerous shot which Cordarius Arenal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Araju FC booed when Guanarito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodio Trianes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Araju FC's Elizardo Yecora got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elizardo Yecora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cordarius Arenal having to interfere. Elizardo Yecora struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Cordarius Arenal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Araju FC. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Javiero Revillas during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Guanarito FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Javiero Revillas to maneuver through the defense. When Araju FC's Loreto Rello in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guanarito FC's goalie prevented a goal. When Gonsalvo Berrios came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Araju FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonsalvo Berrios couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the game, Clodio Trianes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guanarito FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Araju FC the free kick. In the 22nd minute, Clodio Trianes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Porfiro Arrascarate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Porfiro Arrascarate could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Isidoro Anduaga made a huge save. Alberto Aldama received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Isidoro Anduaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Guanarito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elizardo Yecora came free, but Cordarius Arenal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loreto Rello in the 41st minute of play forced Guanarito FC's goalkeeper Cordarius Arenal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Clodio Trianes got his second yellow card in the match during the 42nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Clodio Trianes hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute Loreto Rello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cordarius Arenal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elizardo Yecora scored 0-1 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cordarius Arenal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elizardo Yecora to strike the kick off in the second half. Loreto Rello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guanarito FC's Cordarius Arenal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elizardo Yecora in the 62nd minute of play. When Loreto Rello came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Araju FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Loreto Rello couldn't finish the play. Elizardo Yecora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 played minutes Guanarito FC got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Aldama. Cordarius Arenal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loreto Rello in the 72nd minute. If Gelmiro Cosmen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Araju FC's Elizardo Yecora in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guanarito FC's goalie prevented a goal. Cordarius Arenal made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Loreto Rello sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Cordarius Arenal managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when Araju FC's Loreto Rello fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Elizardo Yecora managed to get in a good position for a shot. Araju FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Elizardo Yecora was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cordarius Arenal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Loreto Rello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elizardo Yecora's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cordarius Arenal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Araju FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Guanarito FC.
