Spectators: 7558 (Terracing: 5716, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 90) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arlo Mensa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Presebal Aoiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arlo Mensa in the 6th minute of play. In the 8th minute Joey Vellosillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Presebal Aoiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Caramate getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ihintza Villasuso hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Arlo Mensa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caramate's supporters rose to their feet, but Arlo Mensa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Presebal Aoiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Xandro Ugalde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joey Vellosillo in the 23rd minute of play forced AC Alvarado's goalkeeper Presebal Aoiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, AC Alvarado's goal looked a bit too open when Joey Vellosillo came free, but Presebal Aoiz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Caramate's zone, Cristobal Cuezba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Cachon came out of the goal and Cristobal Cuezba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arlo Mensa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arlo Mensa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Presebal Aoiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Joey Vellosillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 46th minute Caramate were awarded a corner. Dabi Dega went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Edgard Cascallana managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacinto Lazcano made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Ihintza Villasuso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Presebal Aoiz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joey Vellosillo in the 55th minute. Benito Cachon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristobal Cuezba in the 62nd minute of play. After 64 minutes, Gaudencio Carranza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC Alvarado and the Caramate players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute, one of AC Alvarado:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for AC Alvarado. The goalkeeper, Presebal Aoiz, was totally fooled by Caramate's Dabi Dega, who 65 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Arlo Mensa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Presebal Aoiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arlo Mensa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Presebal Aoiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arlo Mensa's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. After some careless play in the AC Alvarado defense, Xandro Ugalde kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Presebal Aoiz. The AC Alvarado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Presebal Aoiz should have stopped the shot. 93 minutes into the game, Dabi Dega was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caramate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Alvarado the free kick. In a very dangerous position, a player in Caramate fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 92nd minute. Penalty! After having played for 99 minutes, Cristobal Cuezba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Alvarado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristobal Cuezba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caramate played a much better game than AC Alvarado and deserved their victory. The AC Alvarado players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
